Author's note: I wrote this because even when I feel like I am good at something, someone else is always better.  I feel like you have to get better at that sometimes.  I don't really know why sometimes people feel this way, so I wrote this.  Please comment!

Everyone is always better than you.
Has something better.
Or beats you at something.

No matter how hard you try
Somone has something
Better
Or is better
Than you

Competition.
Can be good
But you feel
As if you have to
Live to the standerds
To somehow be better

No matter how hard
You fight to stay better
You will always be pushed down
By someone else
Better than you.

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Author's note: This piece has to do with memories.  The character is looking back at the past through pictures.  Not exactly sure how I was inspired by this, but I guess that can be okay.  Hope you like it!

Memories.

Through pictures

I see the long gone faces of the past

Through smiles and laughter

.

Awkward huddled pictures.

Funny.

Posing.

Family.

Friends.

Many memories.

Many stories.

Many thoughts.

Many emotions.

A single picture is worth a thousand words.
